John, how is the local Comanche Nation taking the newest member of the tribe?

I see where Johnny Depp has been accepted into the Comanche Nation. Just read an article were he is playing the part of "Tonto" in the new "The Lone Ranger" movie.

I hope he does you and yours proud.

Now for an update, your once again slacking. :freaky

Wow is about all I can say at this point. I missed everything right up until very recently and have been reading like a mad man just to try and catch up! There are so many good ride reports here on ADV but this one truly has it all! Now leave that girl alone and START TYPING! I may actually have to get some work done if you don't! :lol3

Actually very happy to see you are healing up, hope all is well in OK!

Hey Juan Eduaro Martinez! You haven't forgotten about your loyal fan base have you? Any plans to keep working on finishing your epic RR? My number one question is how many months of healing did it take for the fibula to stop clicking? :ear

Thanks for the kind words. My hometown of Pryor Creek got hit hard back in the 1940s and thankfully it's number hasn't come up yet again, knock on wood.

I know my friend, I've been catching up with all my other stuff and waiting on a few things before I get this going again, I promise I will have it up to date before I come back down and take off again on the Big Mexican Whore:lol3

Well maybe by the time I get this up to date, you will be ready to enter Venezuela:deal I'm still waiting on reading your SA ride report!

Thanks man! I have loads more to add and it is coming, this stuff takes some time:wink: Thanks for following along:freaky

As I mentioned above I will return to this again, just waiting on a few more turns of events. As far as the clicking went, I remember it being a few weeks and then it set up, the films look good, what took forever was the skin to re-granulate and fill in the deep wound where the tissue died, took nearly 7 months for it to completely heal over. From this, notice the dead skin in the middle that looks like beef jerky:
It had to come off before new tissue could fill in the hole.

Here months later the finished product:

The good news is that the Cherokee will be able to get the metal bits removed from leg as I still have been having a fair amount of discomfort/pain and a nice limp from the ordeal. I have an appointment for what should be the scheduling of surgery this coming Wednesday after the final review of a CT scan of the leg, finger's crossed that everything looks good on the inside. I'm ready to have my $850 tire iron:deal The bad is that I won't be coming back to Venezuela for the surgery and R&R:cry

Looking forward to getting this all behind me. Maybe I'll get that great girlfriend of mine to ride on the back of old mule some this Summer once I finally get the clutch and front/rear subframes swapped out and the old leg healed up. It could be much worse...

So glad to see things are going okay in OK.

As a side note, I was cleaning out the back room here in Medellin and came across an Oklahoma Cherokee license plate with the 33 1/3 sticker on it.

    Throttlemeister lives!!!!!

I will hang it up in the bar and snap a pic as soon as you update your ride report.. Colombia remembers the Throttlemeister! They still talk about you amigo.

    Kindest regards,
    John Downs
