Nope, not me. Got out for the first time tonight. Ended up picking up a Deka AGM battery at Windsor Starter's Powerhouse yesterday for $100 cash. Hopefully it has the reputation they say it does.
Does your bike have Huge vibes like the 640 does??? if it does maybe that battery might work for me lol.....
PS...let's try another meet and greet soon. I never see anybody anymore. I think McCadders moved back to Amsterdam or wherever the hell he's from. Nooky is probably behind enemy lines in a desert somewhere. Junac is busy making banjos and moonshine. Too many local riders I've never met.
I heard about that shop in LaSalle last year, but I couldnt find anything on it either. I am still hunting a front rim and now a battery for the ktm. Might have to order from Cali. for the rim. I will be in florida till end April, leaving this Fri or Sat. but Im game for a gathering in May. Maybe grab lunch and go for a ride or even an evening and bring a dvd to Big Al's. Whatever, its all good.
Nokmuay How about setting something up late April, maybe in the Chatham area. It's central to Sarnia, London & Windsor. There are a few guys in the Sarnia area and I noticed a new thread a little while ago from some London area guys. Some of them might be enticed to made the trek.
Was out in Essex on Saturday pick up a motorcycle jack and noticed the railway lines have been ripped up. I didn't really notice how far they have ripped them up but there may be some sections that are rideable. Any thoughts?
That sounds good. How about april 28 which is a Sunday say 1:00 pm TIM HORTONS by BOB MOTORSPORT on HWY40. I was thinking there was one there. But correct me if I am wrong. Don't no if this is good.
I haven't been out lately. But the rail line crosses under the 401 by hwy40 by Chatham it also goes throw tilbury, comber, woodslee to then to Essex. Did it look like it is graded. I was hearing they where going to put a bicycle path there. And use it for big hydro lines for the wind mills.
I jumped on the railroad bed out here in Belle River and followed it east for ages. Not sure how far it continues.
I will be in Florida April 19 -April 30.... There are some clouds down there that need some holes punched into them, so Im gonna go make sure that happens, atleast the ones at 15,000ft and lower. Im gonna need to hunt down a PC 310 Oddessy battery while im down there as mine's pouched. Just bought that new Noko Charger, thats nice if you havent seen it, its on sale at Canadian Tire for 90 bucks, ( 30 bucks off ) and it comes with a lead you cna Quick connect to the charger and leave it attached to the bike, plus you can get other ones for 10-15 bucks, some even monitor current battery % and allow for quick connect without seat removal.
Anyone know a good KTM guy around 4-5 hours from here? I think a refresh is due soon on the 640's engine and suspension... if I dont try to buy the 1190.... whenever and if ever they become available here in Canada.
Rob Lang langsoffroad.com He works on lots of KTM's (mine included), Husky's, Husq's, GasGas, etc. Give him a call about the 640.
Thanks, Ill check em out. They good on Engine service? Im thinking maybe lash ingthe vavles, adn finding lost oooumpff... heheh!
Or you could try DIU, but this depends on how mechanically inclined you are. Clymer make some mean manuals.
Thought they'd got confused and locked you up Patrol. So you come through Belle River and not even spare the time to text me, some people! Just heard a buddy of mine up in Mississauga sold his KTM 950 ADV to one of your colleagues in Amherstburg, know who it might be? April 28th works for me.....
How about a ride out to Patrol's favorite Roadkill cafe? You know, the one where you peeled the paint off the walls
