    Anyone in atlanta.
    Need to put a euro map 2 gig card in a 2610 to see if it works. Friend trying to do this in europe says it requires an unlock code. Know that is true if uploading to the computer but thought the car would bring up the maps without a code.

    I don't thinks so or no one would by the MapSource software, they would just download it to a CF and sell/give the card away. No money to be made by MapSource that way! Garmin only allows software to be downloaded to TWO units! They allow two because they figure you need two GPS. Two but only TWO!
    Someone tried what you're proposing and found out the above info. If Garmin has changed policy then I'd also like to know.
