So we got to Lake Travis, at Sandy Creek park.
very nice road and views, Andres calls on the radio and ask me to stop at the first convenience stor, the closest to the final stop to get loaded with all the supplies (beer, snacks, beer, water, cigars, beer, more mosquito repellent, beer, sun block, beer, etc. ooh and food.)

so I'm following the gps, never been on the area before. we get to the destination and no stores around.

we ask the gate keeper about what is permited, she says no woodfire, damn!!
so we were already freaking mad so we decided to stay, she said we can choose any spot to camp, and that the nearest store is about 15 minutes from there. damn.

GREEN MOSCA says he wants a beer too!

so we finally decided for this spot to camp and get the stuff for the night.

GREEN MOSCA is anxious for his beer! and Andres, Jorge and JC have not returned yet, we are thirsty!!

I perhaps schedule and incidental ride on the north shore of SPI, "just to improve" my skills on sand riding.

    Hey Arte How are you?
    I have a question
May I set camping in the rest areas of the 35 hwy?
When I went to Dallas some times I was so tired and I want to get a siesta in those rest areas but I had afraid I thought that the police pick me up to the jail. :deal

You are probably ok to do so, but unless the law has changed you may not set a tent up. If it is completely prohibited there will be a sign.

Hey Wolverine, I guess Mike is right, there was no sign that indicated that was prohibid to tent camping.

next time try it, if not allowed, then simply get into your sleeping bag.

    Saludos!
