to get a set of lock cylinders!!!!! It's been 3 1/2 weeks since I bought my 2015 GSA. They said the side cases and lock cylinders would take a week to get. Well it was about 2 weeks for them to get the cases but still no lock cylinders I think they either forgot to order them or they are just lazy.
Bought my bike Oct 30th, ordered a bunch of extras that day. Everything but the locks arrived Nov 6th. Locks arrived Nov 25th.
a month is too long for me especially when the dealer told me 1 week. I guess it's not that unusual. In the past, the cases and locks were in stock so no waiting. Do the dealers order them from the factory?
I bought my cases after I bought my bike. Dealer sends your VIN to BMW and they key the locks and send them to your dealer. Seems it took a few days for mine to come in
Your dealer might have jumped the gun a bit with saying just 1 week - my dealer told me 3-4 weeks as they are sent from the factory in Germany.
