It's nice to hear what you've been doing for others Martin. I don't understand why some people find it hard to imagine that you might just want to help out a fellow traveler. I've witnessed the same from a fellow Triumphrat member this year. He helped two separate Aussie travelers secure bikes, titles and insurance. He'd never met these guys before. Some people do nice things for others, that's all there is to it. One of the Aussies has been here for 9 months now and many of us on the forum have opened our doors to him and are glad we did. The other person was here for 8 weeks and was also invited into other forum members homes often. I guess it's a win/win situation for everyone involved.
Keep up the good work Martin. |

Just found this thread, seems like a great service
. I'm not sure how a non resident can get a plate here in NM but I'd be happy to help out if I knew it could be done. Of course in NM you can get a license even if you are here undocumented so it should be possible. I was looking for a thread about sharing bikes. I was loaned a bike for a cross OZ trip by a fellow ADV and in return he can borrow mine when he visits here. He hasn't show up yet but the offer always stands. This was a great example of trust. He even had his girlfriend meet me as he was out of town . Anyway "borrowing" a bike may be an alternative to buying. I'll entertain all offers
