Good to see your pics from TN again, rdc. If the rain, sleet and snow would stop, I'd be able to get out again. With the bike getting its riding season kick-off maintenance last month on top of the weather, I haven't been riding since the end of March. Maybe I can get in a ride in the coming days. I still need to do a shakedown ride following the servicing.
Thanks! SLEET & SNOW! :huh You should be in TN , beautiful weather the last couple of weeks, low humidity, lite breeze and temps bumping 80. Perfect riding conditions and awesome roads. This one taken in off 101 south of Crossville. Beautiful countryside, laying tracks on 285 and Hyway 30 to Spencer and McMinnville. I thought maybe the Clerk was protesting the Regime.
Working on that plan! After I return from my DV, Yosemite, Bryce Canyon and an uninvited drop-in to the COG rally in Cortez next month, I plan to list the house for sale. Have to see what happens after that, but southern mid-TN is looking pretty good. I was going to see about a ride this Saturday, but family reminded me of my b-day get together here. Maybe in the morning! Sunday for sure. Unless the weather is doing it's thing. Looking at my pictures folder and maintenance log, I've managed four rides this year totaling a meager 1,500 miles, or so. Need to snag a flag photo again.
Did get out for about three hours today. Three flags that did not play well. Took this photo while waiting for enough breeze to lift the flags. Didn't happen. So, on the way out of the building I see the flags standing straight out. Good. Get the camera out, and the wind quits! After I finished creating new chicken strips on the fresh front tire while on CO-96, CO-165 was great for making them narrow - as they should be.
Thanks, I was riding Sat. and Sun. but never saw a good opportunity for a shot. Glad you were able to honor the Day.
I've never seen this thread before but I drive by this chair pretty frequently. I do contract work at the plant on the other side of the street fairly often.
