I have slept with my bike that one time at band camp in Alaska, had to keep engine on all night because of the cold. Same as cowboys sleeping with horses in old days... bike is really your friend
Slept ON it (drunk) and slept with it in the same tent and in the back of the same van but I draw the line at cuddling (or it drew the line at cuddling, either way..........).
I've slept on the F (up on the centerstand) a couple of times. It's okay for a short (~1hr) nap, but the unfolding process gets a little painful after much more than that. Laying on the tank is better for short naps, on my back on the seat is better for longer ones.
Been there...done that. Helpful tip: Let the engine cool COMPLETELY before bringing your mount in to snuggle for the night. Otherwise the entire room immediately smells like gas and oil and the smell doesn't go away. Found that one out when I was a young rider, on my '76 XL350 traveling from Tampa, FL to San Antonio, TX. Fortunately I paid cash upfront (you could do that back then) and left early the next morning, before anyone else could complain about the smell! :)
No. But I sleep with my helmet and goggles on all the time! My wifey dreams a lot that she's in a fight and beats the hell out of me (or at least that's what she says!:eek1
