Had to go to State College , Pa today. While there I took the time to stop by Kissle Motorsports and check out the Ural they had in the parking lot. And the Gear-up in the showroom.....
Ten years of lusting after a Ural , spent some time eyeballing the gear-up when the sales manager offered to let me ride the orange one in the parking lot. I could not have had a bigger smile on my face ! I only took it around the lot, and my wife did take a ride in the car , but I tell you , it is far better than I could have expected. He offered to let me ride it around town for a couple hours to see what I thought , just need to bring my own gear .
Craig , thanks for letting me ride that magical machine. The wife is finacially preparing for a gear-up purchase in the spring....I cant wait !!:ricky

How much are the Urals in the states? Over here in the UK they are about £11,000 (approx $17,325)

    At this particular dealership , a Gear-Up is $13,000 . A small price to pay .
I have lusted over these for years , must be Devine intervention that this dealer started carrying the line recently . 10 minutes around that parking lot and I can understand why people love these machines .

Have you talked to Claude at CSM?
He's only about 2 hrs from you.
Would be a good source of info to you, even if you don't buy from him.
Can't say enough good things about Claude and the staff at CSM.

Same here. One test ride that I had no plans of 90 minutes earlier and BAM!, I owned a Ural.

When I finally decided to get a sidecar I wasn't really even considering a Ural, one test ride and I was sold, it just felt so right.
