Started this thread to organize a ride in Johnson Valley next month. This will be the last chance to ride it ALL before the Marines take over. Feb 21-23-2014. All are welcome. Yeah even you Off Limits. Calling Riceless! Group camp at Means Dry Lake.(camp free for all)

I did my 1st real desert race this year at the 100's HH. I am a burnt out 54 year old and it kicked my ass! Vowed to do more, is this the same area that is being confiscated?

Is means dry lake the one closer to landers that has the bomb craters? You know, made from military planes dropping ordinance? Maybe there's hope for the shared use area.

I can't make it, but you should pester rearsteer to join you. He knows some gnarly singletrack north of means that will definitely be CLOSED in the future.
