What pads did you go with? Would like better grip on the rear wheel if possible.

Galfer G1054 Standard Semi-metal (FD138 G1054)

Not sure if they are any better than any others.

Fitted the updated 2 piece design bolt with 2 o-rings, and a little motoseal just to top it off.

Only had to drain the oil tank to remove it from the lower drain hose to get enough room to r/r the leaky bit that had a new o-ring 60mi ago.(don't forget to loosen the cam chain tensioner first!) Pic soon, maybe.

Getting really good at pulling fairings and tanks, might look into the quick removal fitting for the glovebox to shave some minutes.

Valves done today only slight adj to the Exhaust & one Intake .
Probable could of left them alone but I was there .

No it was a genuine are you ok as he was quite stunned and was kinda dancing around not knowing quite what to do, bit of shock I think.

All ok tho which is cool.

I think his riding might take a turn for the better and he might stay on his side a little more

finally got my 1190r yesterday. figured out computer stuff. pretty easy. read manual. rain should slow up by tomorrow. want to ride her 600 mi for her break in this fri, sat, and sun. we'll see! its been a long wait. rode a std version in AZ last month and loved it. still never ridden an R! trailered it home with my 530 from the dealer. should be fine. been raining like a mofo.

I've been home with the flu, and finally today I feel like I can walk around, though still wearing a watch cap, hoodie and shivering a bit. Went out to the bike to get some stuff out of the saddle bag. Spied a piece of kit I'd gotten last year from LPR.
So I installed it on the 990.


I did order some tools and a travel bag to use when I'm traveling light and camping rough.
I hope that's all I ordered anyway. I'm still a good deal foggy.

Got one of those waiting to go on my bike ASAP. And a trash can waiting for the EIGHT fecking fasteners I won't again need to remove every time I need to get into her guts.
