yeah, that area over there is kinda behind the restroom and is basically an open gravel lot. you'll have plenty of space. and no one to be bothered by our noise.

Quick side question... I've never been to DV or this location, and I have a couple of buddies asking me about this trip, but they have non-plated dirt bikes. Is that an option for this area, or not a good thing?? TIA!

Not at all. Must be plated in DV proper. The other side of the state line is a whole other concept. Everything goes.

Man, I am so bummed. I'll be in DV in January but I'm leaving less than a week before your shindig starts. I've been to DV twice before and have gone driving around some of the fun dirt roads in a 4X4 and I would LOVE to go riding down there. Does anybody know of a place in Vegas (or Pahrump) that rents dual-sport bikes?

I hope to hike up Telescope Peak while I'm down there as I have already hiked up Mt. Rose. I know there will probably be snow and ice up high, which I'm used to, so I'll bring appropriate gear. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would rather ride with you guys than hike with my other friends.

No one quite understands when I say this, but I really had a good time at last year's DV Daze. It's the past year of medical bills that sucks! If you watch the video we're just laughing all day. Good riding. Good company. I'd do it again, but I need to hitch a ride this year and I don't know what the likelihood of that is.
