A few years ago, I would have thought this might be impossible. A segment of the top schools in the NCAA form their own athletic association? Now it looks like it's almost a lock...the world is upside down.

Well, the NFL as of now, doesn't have a farm system, so it seems this could be the next best thing.

Yep, just look at the Cowboys. Bates, Witten, and now Kiffen and Dooley. Tennessee is obviously the Cowboys farm club. That would explain a few things!

If I was a young prospect, would I go to Alabama and sit on the bench, or go to another school where I have a better chance to play?

If a student decides to spend $22K/year plus living expenses, to attend a second tier school (#77 academically) they need to never bitch about how much money they owe in student loans.
