A little drizzle while leaving my house on the way to Ephrata, but still an exellent 55 mile ride in the back country roads.. encountered a downed tree that had to take a 2 mile detour.. but most interesting vehicles are:

This guy had too much to drink the night before, I was going to stick my finger in his nose for this picture.

That WWII fest looks like something that would have Mrs. Packmule banging her head after half an hour (cause I'd be there all day!)

    Thanks for the pics! :beer

There were tons of airplaines that I did not get pictures of, bombers like the Lancaster, B-17, Mustangs, Hurricanes, lots of trianer planes.. and many more military vehicles.. I wish I had more time and better weather.. I would have taken many more pictures.

Nice pictures. I used to live about ten miles from there(Robesonia). I can remember (as a youth) climbing the fence at the end of the runway on summer nights and lying there watching the planes land. I don't think it would be possible post 9-11, but my buddies and our respective 40's had fun!

Was the WWII weekend different than the anual airshow?

I'm not sure if the WWII Weekend is the same show as the other events they might have at teh Mid-Atlantic Air Museum.. but here are the pages to check them out:
