Sorry CS. Chose the number in memory of my brother who passed away this last October. He raced the Baja 500/1000 back in the 80's, and his birthday was Nov 3 - thus choosing 113. I registered early to be sure of getting a room in Bay of LA. Getting excited for the race now. Just got back from a post Xmas ride in Baja...
I'm in, riding the MO class on a 2001 XRR. Website is screwy, if you make a mistake and try and refresh it does not repopulate all fields. This ultimately resulted in two separate entries for one bike. Also, I saw no area where I could pay for crew wristbands. But, bottom line is I'm in and looking forward to it! JB
Just joking with you, I don't carw what number I am honestly. Your tribute trumps me by a long shot, good for you for taking him along this year. I did a similar thing last year.

Motoworks Chicago's Johnny Scheff and Josh Muthart are teaming up. Running DRZ400S. Bike #69. This will be our first desert race, we're really stoked to be on board. The bikes are in San Diego, ready to rock, and we're riding the first week in March as a shakedown. Thanks to the guys that encouraged the effort. I've been riding in Baja for years, I'm really excited to be doing some racing. Our expectations are low, the plan is to bring it home and finish. Happy New Years
Not signed up yet Gotta save up for a few weeks to afford entry fees. I'm usually the guy wrenching on broke bikes, so this entry fee stuff is new to me.
