Michigan Tag-O-Rama

Welcome inmates to the tag game for the entire Great Lakes State. Tag games are not new. There are many like it, but this one is ours. Some common ground rules.


1) Tag boundary is the entire state of MI. Should be simple enough.

a. Any type of road or surface

​

b. No “fee” areas or private property

​

c. Must be legal for all MCs, avoid ORV only trials and the like

2) Tag placement: Anywhere & Anything

​

a. Provide reasonable clues, GPS coordinates, or other means for inmates to find it without searching for 2 days

​

b. Tell inmates if rugged or other off-road terrain is required to get to the tag.

3) Tag Photos

​

a. Your motorcycle must be in at least one of the pictures for the grab/tag

​

b. No file photos

4) Game Play

​

a. If you are new, watch and learn before jumping in, it’s not that complicated

​

b. Give clues on the forum only to keep it fair

​

c. Due what you can to avoid previous tags

​

d. Move tag a reasonable distance, not just across the street

​

e. First photos uploaded get credit for the tag

​

f. Post your grab and tag together. Don’t post a grab and wait 2 weeks to post a tag.

Mikesova and I found this spot together. Some gravel, sand, grass, and some mud if wet is required to get there. A giant mud pit prevented us from getting any further down the trail.

Nice. Wish I had time to get up there to snag this one. I'm itching to take the new GS into the woods. No time though and leaving on a trip in less than a week.

Very straight forward: take thyself on a bike trip to the place the last person posted a picture with his/her bike, take a picture of your bike in the same place, post that. Then go somewhere else, take a picture of your bike at that new place and post the new pic for the next person to grab along with some clue as to where it's at. Try to do the grab and tag pics in a reasonable time of eachother.

Here is the Grab. It was tough for me to get to this spot. The Pirelli scorpions hated the soft sand and really hated the mud!!

Been busy, 24 hrs of OT this week. If it is still there Monday or Tuesday I am planning on getting it.

I was thinking about venturing up to get it since I was camping just south west of Cadillac, so closer than I usually am to it, but the timing didn't end up working out.

That a 4 hour round trip (minimum) for me. Just waiting to get some free time, and probably pre-approval from the wife for that kind of absence.

We need to get some people in on this and the mid-michigan one. So tell your friends, introduce them to the adv inmates. So far we just have a couple of pockets of active taggers. Would love to see that grow.

I think Kent will get it. The tag is literally a few miles from his parent's cabin. :)

I would love to see it grow as well. I'm shocked at how popular some of the tag games around the country are.

Oh, yeah. I got it guys. 110 miles, 4.5 hrs of glorious riding on the KLX! I took the scenic route.
