I searched but didn't find a KLR picture thread ... so ! I'm itching for a KLR ... ... ... ... ... Post 'em if you got 'em. Old ones, New ones, Dirty ones , Clean ones (if there are any clean ones)
Ya, I'll bite. Breaktime during a failed IB attempt in 2006. Snapped clutch cable on the KLR and a blown motor on the gpz550. Ride report here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146512
There are numerous pics, of every imaginable KLR configuration, available in "KLR Stories". As I'm feeling the Christmas spirit, here's the link: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49825&highlight=Stories By the time you read this *story* front to back you'll know more about KLRs than you thought possible, have seen more KLRs than you'd ever dared imagine had come off the assembly line, much less been imported to the USofA, and you'll most likely have aged a bit. Enjoy.
I think I've submitted this one about 397 times by now, although it does have a little bit more farkle on it now. I should probably update my records.
This is me and my KLR650 near Imogene Pass, outside Ouray, CO in June 2005. More pictures from this trip at http://www.biketexas.net/motorcycle/coloradojune2005/ . www.biketexas.net
Here's my '03, been to Montana, Oregon, Washington, California, and now Texas. Plan on a full round-trip in the spring from South Texas to Montana, over to the coast and back down. Can't wait!
