Great pics & report DB :clap

If I'd known you were in Kas we could have met for a beer or two. We try to spend a week or so at Kas Kamping every year.

Just love your writings Dicky and the pics aren't half bad either. The inmates of your menagerie sure look like they know how good they have it too.
I will make it to Turkey one of these days,I almost got there last year but unfortunately ran out of time. The bike I was touring on wouldn't have been able to get around in the rough stuff either, next time I'm over it will be a dual sport.
Would you happen to know the manufacturer of the Exhaust pipes on Birthday Boys BMW,page 56.

Nice to see you are still doing a fabulous job hosting rides!
Had such a great time with you in Cappadocia a couple years past.

Just finished my RR on my 9000+ mile ride to Portugal from Bulgaria here.

Thank you for your kind words. This chap was responsible for the home made exhaust pipes, and indeed the rest of the build. A local chap by the name of Cem:clap

    Hi!

I plan to go a minimum of asphalt and to interesting places by the east, probably Black Sea coast and the center of Turkey up to Cappadocia.

    Can advise tracks?
Whether there are maps better than Garmin?
And it is possible to buy 140/80-18 types lake Michelin Dessert/Mitas 09 for example in КТМ shop in Malatya?
    Thanks!

    Hi Ivan,

Most of my riding tends to take place round where I live which is on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey as opposed to the Black Sea coast. However, I would recommend reading this post T U R K E Y Our Eastern Blacksea and East Travel 5000 kilometres - ADVrider There are some good maps and photos later in the report.

I am planning to tour the North East of Turkey and the Black Sea coast this summer.

Regarding tyres in Manavgat, I have no idea but would recommend contacting this chap who is very knowledgable and helpful here in Turkey. https://www.facebook.com/mehmet.avar.12 :freaky

Please don't apologise for your English. My Russian extends to Natasha and Vladimir, beyond that I am lost:cry

    Cheers,

    Dickyb
