If someone has a GPS (the one we had is a POS). I would like to find the (Mason Evans) cave up on Starr mountain.
A couple of us looked a couple weeks ago with no luck. Here is the info... http://www.telliquah.com/Starr.htm

Whew! Just finished the all-afternoon-up-to-9PM rear tire change. Of course I was multitasking doing that, drinking beer, watching MotoGP, and helping cook the spaghetti dinner with a side of spinach cooked up with ricotta, fresh garlic and basil, and a few other Italian seasonings.

The rear wheel on an F 650 is enough to test anyone's ability and religion - the drop center in the rear rim doesn't really drop enough. The front, no problem. The rear - well, I'll clean the blood off the garage floor tomorrow while chainging the oil and front sprocket. :D

All that's left after that is to pack and double check.

OK Correct me if I am wrong. There will be beer and eats available at the campground, right?

Otherwise, I gonna have to go grocery shopping before I pull in! :puke1

I have an empty bunk in my cabin if anyone wants to share a cabin. I snore.

Hi Sarah. I'll take you up on that offer so that for once I don't have to haul a tent with me. Warning - I snore too. :D

I have heard about your snoring. I might pack my noise cancelling headset along with my super industrial ear plugs.

That might be a good plan. There's a reason I usually pitch my tent down at the "lonesome end" of the tent spaces. :evil

:huh Opps! See what being frugal gets me.:lol3

But then again, have you ever noticed that my former repeat cabin mates keep saying "huh?" By Saturday we might be flipping a coin to see who gets the noise canceling headset.

Weird. I just stumbled across this. My brother and I are coming down from Detroit and were going to camp there. We will be there on thursday night trough the weekend. Look for us black KLR and Yellow DR650. We have no planned rides yet. Do we need any kind of trail sticker/ pass?

    Thanks

Got Friday off, so I should get there before dark. My wife has decided she needs a weekend at home alone, but I may drag 1 or 2 B'ham locals up in my wake.

Glad to have you..You do not need any off road stickers to ride in the area. Look for me on the white DR650.

    I have a count of 24. I told B and B to bring enough food for 25. Should I add 3 or 4 more?
