    Rules are easy...

The "Tag" can be any object. It will be the object directly behing the bike in the photo.

#1 - Find the tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a photo, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.

#2 - Go to a new location and park your bike in front of something, get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history that can be found down some nice twisties.

#3 - Tag must be a) findable and b) may be placed on a dirt road if a street bike can make it. Maintained gravel is OK, but make sure to let folks know that gravel is required to get to your tag. We don't want to exclude those who don't like to get dirty.

#4 - File photos are NOT permitted. You gotta ride to play this game.

#5 - Your bike has to be in the TAG picture

#6 - cannot re-tag anything. Once something is tagged its done.

#7 - picture must be taken from the correct end/side..... when possible

    ***ATTENTION***
these are the rules from day 1 but i have been getting phone calls, PM's and emails so this has to be made clear so i dont have to make it clear 1 rider at a time.

#1. THE TAG IS THE OBJECT BEHIND THE BIKE. there are no official mascots in this game. any "item" left at a tag site is just that, an item and should be considered a gift to the tag gods. THE ONLY THING THAT MUST BE TRANSPORTED TO THE NEW TAG IS YOUR BIKE.

#2. THE FIRST PERSON TO POST THE PICTURE IS THE HOLDER OF THE TAG AND GETS TO PICK THE NEW TAG.

the following do not qualify you as a tag winner:
    i googled it first
i arrived at the scene first
    i clicked my camera first
i took a picture of an item left near a tag

so tag #1 needs no clues but ill give one anyway. this landmark has its own custom color paint.

I started this game because it is hugely popular in the east. Give it a try. I think you will enjoy it. Remember, you have to dupplicate the picture :deal

Not sure I understand. So one must take a picture of their bike with the Golden Gate Bridge?

I would like to participate, but I'm a little slow.

    Hey Sallydog...looks like fun.

So the next person has to name your tag item (golden gate bridge) and then post their bike in front of a new tag item? Or do they have to take a photo of their bike in the same location as yours? Then post a new pic?

Sorry, I'm confuzzled too. We're slow on the left coast. :D

Yes you guys are slow, you be the first to take a pic of your bike in the "tag" location (this case GGB) then you pick a new location take a pic and this is the new tag for others to find and so it goes on.

Hope this makes it clearer for you. if not read first post again.

So if the tag is the bridge, the actual spot you can take a pic is pretty much anywhere in a 10 mile radius? Or does it have to be the same general spot/ angle/ distance from the bridge?
We aren't only slow, but super technical too!

Thats right. Figure where I took the picture from and duplicate it. First one to do that gets to post the new tag.

Well, if someone snags one and then decides to put the next one someplace on a trail (Husky Monument, for example), that sounds like fun to me. :D

We get them in the dirt. Plenty of times weve ridden ninjas and baggers miles off road for a tag. But the name of the game is fun. Not make it too hard to figure out. These games are fiercely competitive in every state in the north east. I have posted tags with other adv riders in my tag photo. They just werent finger fast lol... ang the masses will hammer you if you get caught cheating. Every state ive started this in has broken my balls in the beginning but thanks me a couple months in. Eventually someone posts a tag so close it is irrestable. And when someone beats you to a tag it is refered to as getting "bruced" after the guy that invented the game. Nothing worse than getting bruced by a minute.

I'm guessing in the northeast it's popular state for state because, the states are so small. A tag in frisco might as well be on the moon for us so cal guys. 400 miles in the northeast could cover 4 or 5 states.
