I need to order new fork seals most likely. Since I've had no oil in these, they're likely shot. Kawi dealer hasn't got them in stock, and I'm still waiting for the $5 oring I ordered two weeks ago for the starter (grrrrrr)

Will be using ATF for fluid, stock springs, and putting in a longer spacer made of PVC above the springs. Need to replace my stock boots, as they're in pieces at present.

The idiots at Cyclegear kept showing me shock boots when I asked for fork seals. The new crew over there SUCKS. Don't think they even ride.

I may just go ahead and top off the forms with ATF tonight when I get home from work, so I can see if the seals weep. If they don't, I won't sweat it. Still gonna have to pull them from the triples though, to install boots. While I'm in there, might as well adjust the headset too.

+1 for that. ~3 weeks ago I stood around for ~10 minutes trying to find someone willing to take my money to order a set of Pirelli Scorpion Syncs. The "manager" was too busy BS'ing on a cell phone to talk to me so I left.

That's too bad that CycleGear is headed south. I have always had good luck there. But their prices on tires are still better than anyplace else in town that I have found.

I'll catch 'em on tire sales, but that's about it.
Don't know what happened to the old crew. Hopefully they'll get some riders, or someone who knows how to read a special order book, soon.

I should also mention: when I initially asked for fork boots (I asked for those, first), the salesdroid took me to the FOOTWEAR section.

I won't be able to make this one, looks like, folks. My next day off it 17 May. That said, I have no idea which shift I'll be on that night, but chances are I won't be off.

Menu has the standard pizza joint stuff: pizza, calzone, salad, beer. Think there may be pasta as well, but don't count on it.

Come hungry, their slices are HUGE- about $3 per, and you get your money's worth- I am a pizza fiend, and I can't put away 2 slices at a sitting.
