i'm looking at purchasing the BMW GPS system for my HP2 and would like some advice from the more experienced GPS users. Which is the better unit that BMW sells? The Zumo or the navigator III?

which is the most motorcycle fredindly?
    Which is easier to use?
what price have others paid for these units or should i just by the OEM version?

    thanks

Don't buy the BMW branded one. Just buy the regular versions and save yourself some coin.

I use the Zumo 550, myself. Great unit.

    +1 on all points.

The BMW version does not support the XM receiver.

Go to Zumoforums.com and read about the Zumo.
It's a great GPS, but it has its little problems too.
But that goes for any GPS.

I switched from a Magellan 2200T to the Zumo and I love it.

Why not a 2610 rather than those pricey thingies?
You are a richy?Buy 2610, lose or break it on HP2, smile and go buy another one.Simple as that.Good rides.

I've been looking a these two GPS units (Zumo vs Navigator III) as well and am curious about something... Can the Zumo records routes as you travel them, as it seems the Navigator III can?

Also, it's sounding like there's lots of votes for the Zumo, but what would be a good (or great) price to get a Nav III for? I'll keep searching around online but it would be great to know what people here think.

    Thanks!

    Thanks DangerMoney.

So, is there anything the Nav III can do that the Zumo 550 can't?
