Hi guys. My first post here What do you think about putting bmw F800/f650gs twin engine to old f650gs or dakar frame? Is it possible? I know that could be a lot of work, different radiator, airbox, intake, ecu and especially frame. Are the mounting places in the same area? Maybe twin heart is too wide?? In old GS the swingarm is mounted both to the frame and engine... I know that can be ridiculous, but used single engine on ebay is for ~700 and twin isnt much more expensive... Anyway, my bike is running good, but just think, that could be a piece of nice mod... So, i'm all
It's a bigger and wider engine.. anything is possible if you throw enough money at it.. but a simple bolt on, it won't be.
