We just received the first CCM Gp450 for Canada. Uncrated at Calgary this afternoon. I will post more pictures as we set up for the Edmonton Motorcycle show this weekend. I was absolutely blow away with the build quality and finish.
whoa A price would be cool... The website claims its an entry level bike, so i would love to see an entry level price too
They are opening up dealers as they speak. The website is under construction . There will be most likely be two dealers for each Province. Cheers
Impressive, 40 Hp (old BMW motor) , light weight at 130 kgs, just a little concerned about a $12,000.00 US price tag. Some good info on the net.
It's $12,000 Canadian. It will be reprogrammable to 50 hp. There is no U.S importer as of yet. Cheers
Why wasn't this at the Calgary show? Let us know when a Calgary dealer is set up please. Also video of you pulling wheelies once fully assembled would be nice too!!
Lol will do there BackRoader. The scheduling for the airlift didn't work for the Calgary show Ok, I just confirmed a Calgary CCM meet and greet at The Old Motorcycle shop on Monday January 27th from 6 till 9pm. They are located at 4240 16th Street south east. We will have the GP450 on display and some refreshments. Cheers
That's awesome news! I'm glad I don't need to drive to Edmonton now to go see the bike. Is there a sign up for the 27th or can we just show up?
Just give the boys at The old MC shop a ring and let them know your coming. They would like to have an idea of how many are showing. Cheers
Cool looking bike. Anyone know anything about the bond-lite frame? Has it been used on any other bikes? Tested? Has it been around in the UK for a while? The OEM accessories available, and even the stock setup make it seem like the designers knew what the market was asking for. But fucking $12000.00 is a hefty price for a 450 dualsport. More then a KTM500? I've never heard of CCM bikes before. I remember I used to have some CCM hockey equipment....
Never mind the bicycles...that bike up there sure is a beauty. And nice options. I'd ride that....how much severance is Warper giving me in a year or so??? That bike may be a better investment than RRSPs.... CCM....I had a few CCM bicycles. Compagnie des Cochons Mardeux.:eek1 But I should restore the one I have here, belonged to the old guy who owned my house before. As old as me that bike...runs fine.
17 liters fuel? Run it bone empty, at their claimed mileage, that's 375kms. To me, that's real world 275. Not enough.
