RIDES: Friday and Saturday rides; these take majority of day. Sunday short-ride through some various trails.

For the uninformed, we use the following as base camp (Ocean Pond):

    http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/osceo...75104&actid=29

The ride will take us through Osceola National Forest. Per norm, plated bike, blah blah blah. Last year we had 2 great group rides at a reasonable pace on Friday and Saturday. Would recommend a bike in the 650 and lower range. KLRs/DRs make it just fine. We didn't hit any super deep sand last year, but sure we'll find some water :evil This event is aimed towards just having fun, eating food, and enjoying the experience.

Food wise; people generally bring plenty of stuff. Ask everyone bring something to contribute. The location has several grills, so last year we did everything from chicken wings to burgers.

Set a date. Later in Feb than normal would work better for me. I'm in Sand Diego the first week.

What's the opinion on 14-15-16? This is a week later than usual, but may fit best for some of us. Also clears some downtime between Polar Bear. I can set it all up again, just may need help getting the keys and place opened up on the 14th. Rest of time I'd be there. Plus, this is a 3 day weekend for many, so may be a little more attractive for some.

Ok, just posted the potential dates. I will call tomorrow to double check availability and update as necessary. Please help spread the word.

For the uninformed, we use the following as base camp (Ocean Pond):

Food wise; people generally bring plenty of stuff. Ask everyone bring something to contribute. The location has several grills, so last year we did everything from chicken wings to burgers. Hopefully, Eloy will be there with the dump cake.

I know one gent guided the Saturday ride last year...haven't heard from him. Anyone still have the tracks? I am going to try and get a little pre-ride in the last weekend of January to check it out.
