This year we will again reserve the entire upper campground for Friday and Saturday nights.

There are also 6 sites reserved for Thursday night. Thursday night options are limited, so sign up early!

Camping: $20 per night. MRA raised their prices but we got a 20% discount...FWIW....... If this seems high, remember...flush toilets, showers and BEER INCLUDED...Duh!! Go price a state campground/KOA.....and then ask for BEER INCLUDED


Saturday Night Dinner: $25 I have made it an option. If not enough people register for Saturday Dinner we will have to cancel dinner and pay to use the amphitheater. I will then have to pass that cost onto the group. I have personally enjoyed all the dinners and like the big community get together/camaraderie it brings. Some of the best WARPED stories are heard (and told) at the Saturday Dinner....

Keeps beer cold and your morning coffee hot....(rinse 1st) You CAN hold the cup when hot as it doesn't transfer the heat! Answers the question "which cup to bring?". Buy more than one as you will have friends covet them.... They make GREAT Birthday/Christmas gifts to your riding Companeros....!!!!!

CAMPING

Tent spots are mostly first come first served. We can usually put 3-5 tents in each site.

SITE 15 is RESERVED FOR THE HDIC AND HIS MINIONS...

SITE 17 is RESERVED FOR GERG, WARPED BEIR MEISTER

If you're really loud and obnoxious, please feel free to pitch your tent next to his trailer.....



Those with RV's, toy haulers, etc. let us know what you are bringing so we can coordinate spots for ease of entrance and exit.

RV Note: There are a VERY FEW LIMITED places we can put them, 4-5 sites tops. If you've been there you know what I mean. Because of the limited availability they will be on a first come first parked basis unless previously discussed with the HDIC. Any trailer over 25' is almost impossible to park!!!!! If you think you can get into a space and it's full of tents it'll be up to you to ask them to move (good luck with that). If you're RVing you pays your money and takes your chances. Usually by Friday at noon they are taken. Plan accordingly by asking your scout to stake a claim if you're going to be late. Remember, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN for finding a place if the prime spots are taken. You BETTER be an ACE at backing......

BTW, there are NO refunds on last minute cancellations. The money will have been spent for the campground, beer, etc. This is harsh but the real world. Any refunds would come out of my pocket....so it ain't gonna happen.

Saturday Dinner
Depending on how many people sign up, we will plan on the Saturday night dinner through WRA. Costs will remain at $25 per person.
Other nights you'll be on your own.

(Likely) Menu for Saturday night:
Chips and cut vegetables
Tri-tip / Chicken
Salad
Beans
Bread
Dessert
Lemonade, water and coffee... Don't worry...we ALWAYS tote a keg to dinner.

For the Vegetarians in the group a non-meat meal is also available.
PLEASE let me know sooner rather than later if you need a vegetarian meal as we need to establish #'s with MRA.



Local Markets
There are Markets (Beer, ice, food) approx 1/2 mile North of the Camp (RiverKern General store- Good beer selection. Deli. Breakfast/Sammiches....... Camping supplies, ice.) and about 3 miles South in Kernville (Sierra Gateway Market-Good beer selection, Deli, Great meat selection, fresh veggies, camping gear, ice. Gas there as well.)

Restaurants
There are several local restaurants within a few miles. The Kern River Brewery is across the street from the Sierra Gateway Market and serves some pretty good food.
There's a steak place a bit north of the camp ( McNally's ) that has some GREAT food....

Breakfasts are excellent at the Cheryl's Diner in town and out at the Airport. Caravans form several times each morning for these hot spots.....

We will have use of the dining area Sat night for the traditional Schwag Raffle.

And now, the important stuff.... BEER

Gerg has graciously agreed to continue his position as OFFICIAL WARPED BEER MEISTER. Each year we have gotten several Kegs from Kern River Brewery as well as some amazingly tasty home brews brought in by fellow inmates... You listening Conestogaman..... ; ) Also, Backoutonthehighway, WARPED IX HDIC will be assisting GERG in his arduous/thankless task of making the beer selections. He also has a line on a super secret Keg-O-Goodness from a brewing friend.....More info as it comes up....
