Thanks for responding riggpigg, I began to wonder after messing with it on and off a few times. Now I do not really notice it.

    Bonjour, Hi, Gruss Got,
my turn, as a proud owner of 06 1150 GSA, to show picture of my "gazelle".
Bought one year ago from the second owner, this bike add only 15000 KM, (9000 Miles).
It cost me "an eye", but worth it after selling my 03 1150 GSA.
Bike had only alu Top Box, I got the side alu panniers and added original Foglights from my 03 1150 GSA.
Low milage means usued bike, and discovered a plugged drain from gas tank filler cap. It took me quite some time to fix it. As a consequence, rain water could flow into the tank when opening filler cap. Not funny :huh
I will post a tutorial how to install Foglights harness cables on bike frame, it was a tough challenge, for me, it could help some other owners..
Bike is finally back on the road since last Sunday, cheers :ricky
Have a great day, and ride your motorbike carrefuly.

    Welcome Taz! Bon jour!
She is a beauty! Congrats on getting her back on the road.
There are a couple threads in UKGSer that talk mostly about the '06 Special Edition. They donT seem to be quite a enamoured with them a we are but they get that these are the best 1150's out there.
It's not a bad thing yours is so clean. In fact, now you have a picture of here to remember her always just that way.:norton

I'm very proud to have about 40 miles of wing man status on Mark's 100k. As far as Smartsville goes, I have passed through there about 5 times and am still waiting for the effects to kick in,

just curious, I have seen many combinations of two 06's in the same picture. Is there any photographic evidence of 3 or more at the same place?

Another one of our bikes for sale. Don't know this gentleman but he does have a unique item that I have not seen before as part of his sale.

Someday, I'd love to be the original owner of a bike. Maybe when I grow up.
Not pimping for this person, but this, to me is the money shot for why 1150 GSAs are better than their plastic tanked progeny.

Lookit that tank. She's a beauty.
For those of you new to the thread, there was a spirited discussion early on about how the tank's shape resembles a woman's curves when she bends forward touches her toes and you areviewing her from the front. Celebrating that form and vision. Respectfully.

I thought of you when I saw it. People would understand that you needed a replacement. They don't make 'em like this anymore. I wish they did.

Actively looking for a 2006 SE, so if you or someone you know is thinking about making a change, please PM me. I can only take so many of these pictures... I promise, your SE will go to a loving home.

I'm starting to get more serious about selling the Fat Fräulein. Is anybody seriously looking for a low mileage example? My life is going to get any less hectic any time soon, so she really should go to somebody who will exercise her. If anybody is interested, send a PM.

    I agree. :cry
However, there have been a couple of folks here recently that have expressed interest. It would be nice to keep it in the family.
    Best of luck.

    Guys -

Just picked up an 06 SE. I bought it with both Meyer and Sargent saddles. The Meyer is built out on the stock frame. I am looking to buy or trade one of these saddles for the stock blue and gray seat. Anyone intersted? Thanks guys!
