Would appreciate advice as to how many days to allow for a visit to The Henry Ford/Greenfield Village museum.

I would think at least two but thought those who have been there might feel differently.

This would be for 2 seniors (wife & I).

    Thank you.

Unless you are really into stopping and reading every single placard and exhibit detail, a full day will easily cover it. They just finished a multi-million dollar auto-history re-do that looks pretty good. Also, don't pass up the guided tour of Bucky Fuller's Dymaxion home......really cool stuff.

It depends on the person. I could spend a full day at each one but my wife would be happy with an hour or two at each. I'm sure most of us knows what I mean. Both the museum and village are awesome. Go in August when the Woodward Dream Cruise is going on. Maybe the Yankees or Red Sox would be in town too?

I think you can hit them both in a day.

Take one easy day each for the museum and the village, lots of things to spend time with. Who knows what you might stumble into.[IMG]

There's an eccentric old timer by me that has one just like that. A GT40 I believe?

If you end up going to days and have extra time, the DodgeChrysler museum in Auburn Hills is decent. I had about an hour and a half one day and ran thru it. 3 hours will give you many views of classic Mopar and other.

It depends on how crazy you are about the stuff there. I take a full day at the museum and still feel cheated. I love that place.

If you can, the Rouge River plant tour is kinda fun too.

Remember that the Village is closed for the winter until April. Since it sounds like you haven't been to either before, I would schedule a day for each one. That way you won't be rushed and you would have time for an IMAX movie or the truck plant tour. Also, don't forget about the Automotive Hall of Fame across the parking lot. It is worth an hour or two of your time if you are into automotive history.
