Black 1050 plastics on 1190 R

So as I was browsing through the KTM Spare Parts Finder I noticed that not only are the plastics on the 1050 my beloved black, they are also available plain black at silly cheap prices!
I'm referring to the following parts on the 2014 1050 Adventure EU > Frame > 8 > Mask Fender image:


[FONT=&quot]2: part# 6030800100033, HEADLIGHT MASK[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]18: part# 6030805000030, SPOILER LEFT BLACK[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]23: part# 6030805100030, SPOILER RIGHT BLACK[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]40: part# 6030804100030, SIDE COVER LEFT BLACK[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]42: part# 6030804200030, SIDE COVER RIGHT BLACK[/FONT]

The first one I'm pretty sure will fit as it's the same as on the regular 1190.
The others are available in two versions, one for under 30 each, another for close to 300 each.
I'm assuming the cheaper ones are plain and the others painted but I'm not sure as there are no pictures available anywhere.

Has anyone ordered any of these parts yet??

Just got confirmation from a parts provider that they should fit.

Thank you for sharing this imformation! I have found them too. Good to know that there is a cheap alternative for scratched or broken plastics!

Only thing missing is a black tank cover....

If I can get the cheap plastics they will go on and let me keep the OE for fancy dress parties.
I have been thinking about building an auxiliary fuel tank that would go on top of the tank in place of the top tank cover. Filling would be via one cap at the top of the new tank.

My dealer saw the price for the OE, when I asked if he could get me a set last year, and he said "it because they are painted." So, yes.
I was trying to buy a set to play with reshaping and painting, but not for that price.

I just called about these and the dealership parts guy said that the KTM U.S.A Computer system only shows the painted ($300 each side) versions of the left and right spoilers (using the above part numbers). Could this be only a European offering? Was anyone in the U.S. able to order these plain black plastics without paint/decals? If so what part numbers are you using because the ktm spare parts finder only lists one option for the 1050. Thanks

Fitted them earlier today, I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow.
Funny thing though, all the panels are shiny black except for one of the back panels which is just plain untreated plastic.

I tried to get the new Powerparts rally footpeg rubber inserts for my bike but was told it is European-only, an inmate in AUS had the same result. As the 1050 isn't slated for North America it looks like you are out of luck unless you can find someone that will ship them over

Maybe Acetone will bring out the shine, 3D printers use it to clean up their parts.

Is it the mask that is flat black and the others (front and rear spoilers) are glossy?

Can't believe those are available for cheap directly from KTM, after I messaged various plastics manufacturers (including Acerbis) to ask for cheap replacements.

Nope, it's actually the left side rear spoiler strangely enough. The mask is still wrapped so I don't know about that one yet but I assume it will be flat black as it is on the regular Adventure.
Still that left rear spoiler is even different from that. It looks like it just lacks the paint or something.

Apart from that I am really happy with them, looks great I think!
