In April 2013, I am planning to Circumnavigate the Globe on my Triumph Scrambler
    <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p> </o:p>
I am riding the long way home from the East Coast of America via 12 countries back to London.
    <o:p> </o:p>
    I will travel through
    <o:p> </o:p>
    USA
    Canada
    Siberia
    Russia
    Mongolia
    Kazakhstan
    Ukraine
    Slovakia
    Czech Republic
    Germany
    Belgium
    And finally the UK
    <o:p> </o:p>
Over the next 8/9 months I will be furiously planning and preparing myself for this gigantic expedition
    <o:p> </o:p>
You will be able to follow my progress at
    <o:p> </o:p>
I will be using this platform to raise awareness for a great cause such as War Child or UNICEF (tbc)
    <o:p> </o:p>
There will be numerous ‘milestone’ parties during the preparation stage, so I hope you can all be there to show your support

I´m anxious to see the preps on yer Scrambler, as it´ll be a tuff travel so the bike has to be well prepared for this.
    Good luck&have fun!

    Thanks Hans

I am upgrading the suspension (both front and Back) and the tires. Full strip and rebuild of the motor, this way I can learn the basic ropes of mechanics. Panniers are from Metal Mule, with some other mods upfront to to keep wind off the body and hands.

What a great journey. This Scrambler owner will most definitely be following along too to see how long distance on a Scram is done. :lurk

Tina (The name of my Scrambler): Hello Paul<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
Paul: Hello Tina, so I want to take back home to London, via Siberia, the BAM Road, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and few other places. Up for it?<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Tina: No, F'ck Off<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Paul: Wait! What? Why?<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
Tina: Look at me, I’m overweight, I’m really not sure I’m built for such shenanigans, I can and do make you look good in Manhattan.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
Paul: Well this isn't an adventure for no reason. Lets get you some glad rags and handbags.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
So begins the task of outfitting Tina the Triumph ready for the road.<o:p></o:p>
