The rear end diff is leaking oil. I thought I may have been lucky to miss the rear end problems buying an 05 manufactured bike. The bike will be 12 months old this week and has 12500ks.
You can see in the photo the oil wet black ring around the centre hole in the diff. I understand that the whole rear end is replaced as they are maintenance free:eek1
Mine went last week at 11 months and 11,800 miles leaking from the inner seal. Replacement unit promised this week.. Does this mean the new unit will again only last ~ 12k miles, or has anything been done to eliminate this problem?
