tried the search and can only find a writeup of guys that took a trip or two with the transit leathers. I ride all year in the PNW and really like the idea of waterproof leathers. Is there anyone out there that has ridden in these leathers for a while and would like to give some pros and cons? I have the bucks together to buy these but am becoming a little hesitant to go for it, because there is so little feedback .Any info would be greatly appreciated.:ear :ear :1drink

bought my first pair of actual motorcycle boots with my first new 2003
GS. A pair of SIDI leather something with a liner. Still have them with the second sole. My feet have never been wet, or cold and I have ridden in 23 degree weather in Alaska. Probably the next best thing was the throttle rocker. I did like the cruise control on my 2008 GT but didn't really care for the bike. My 2009 GS fills the bill. Still have my 2003 Schuberth with a new shield. Still works fine and probably should get a new helmet. I had two Nolans but they both had defects and were much more noisy. I suppose I will have to get a loan and buy another Shuberth. The Arai does not work for me.

Moto Cinch's for my trailer and truck bed. They rock, takes maybe 5 minutes to load and go and I don't have to mess with hold down straps anymore (unless my wife want's to get kinky). Oh, and I am not affiliated in ANY way with these folks.

My Arai Chaser helmet, without a doubt. Gonna be a pain to go helmet shopping if for some reason they decide to quit making it. Have tried them all and the Chaser is the only one that fits comfortably and properly.

Mebbe have to opt for a off road / touring one after the Chaser has seen it's days.. sad really because tried quickly the off road models Arai has to offer and they were all shite. The ah so familiar forehead pressure which turns to pain and makes you stop and tear the helmet from your head.

Looks like your everyday "find it everywhere"-tank bag, what's so exceptional about it?

I - for one - like the super fast "on and off" way it attaches to my bike. Pretty rugged little bugger too. One other neat thing - when you have the rain cover on you can attach the map pocket to the rain cover. I thought it was a nice touch.
    YMMV :deal
