Does anyone know if this headlight would be a plug-and-play replacement for the 7" headlight on a Honda road bike?

I've seen it used on Harleys, and I don't know if there is any difference in the fitting that would make it work on a Harley but not on a Japanese bike.

The DC specs are on the first page of the .pdf. Power is 30W for the 12V model. I'm assuming that's for both hi and lo beams on at the same time. That gives an efficacy of 35.7 lumens/watt--which is poor efficacy for an LED. Cree's XLamp LEDs can generate 100 lumens/watt and their latest generation LEDs 160 (!!) lumens/watt. A good quartz-halogen lamp can generate ~24 lumen/watt efficacy.

Still, it's cool that these lights are DOT approved. Most aftermarket LED and even some HID lamps don't make the DOT beam pattern.

I got the JW Speaker light, and the answer is: No. It's not a plug and play replacement. I'm going to have to make up some kind of mount that will attach the light to the forks. The Honda light has mounting flanges on it that the JW Speaker light does not have.
