Well, the love affair with the Xchallenge was short lived (but quite furious). Officially totaled it Labor Day weekend. Broke the lower frame in half (cast aluminum), and broke off part of the cast motor mount... from the motor. Not sure which direction I'll move in now. There's a nice looking Xchallenge up in Ottowa, but I'm not sure that I don't want a little something different....

Ugh... sorry to hear that Garrett.
How big was the rock that did all that nastyness to your XC?

Beats me. I didn't stop when I believe it happened. After Dave (EOD3MC) and I left Long Run, we ran over to Kevin's house to say hello. When I tried to put my sidestand down, I couldn't. Dave looked at it and said, "uh oh." Rode it back to the burg before I called my insurance.

Long Run was where I cased that Tenere and broke the oil pan. JB Weld is what saved me. Aren't you sure some weld on the engine mount and frame might do the trick?

JJ, I think in the right hands it would be fixable.

Eric, shit, if it was a klr I could probably just duct tape it together.

Well, at least someone is nice and helpful!
Hope I can get over there and meet you, Wayne. I don't mind if I miss seeing Scott. Or the candy van...

Sometimes this job can be fun. I got to ride this baby off of the ACL today.

The Blooch on a KLR, now that's a picture that needs to be quoted! :D

Yep, every job has its perks; enjoy them, because every job always has its disadvantages.

Riding anything at work is a perk!

That's pretty cool, Blooch. Did you notice from where the bike was plated?
