I rode a good bit back in high school and got out of it for a long time. About 6 months ago I bought a bike and got back into riding and in that time I've already had three flats. There's no greater buzz-kill to a nice ride like a flat tire...

If you are returning to riding, please tell me you've taken some MSF classes?

Yeah I've taken the Basic and have the Advanced course lined up as well. All of my riding experience was on dirt way back when. The Basic Class was fun and forces you to think a bit when you're riding.

Good! Most "returning" riders think they don't need it. Stupid hurts.

Not really... I sorta recognized it. :D

Although I've never done the Haul Road, there probably isn't any terrain like that along the way. :1drink

Yeah, it's pretty boring on Haul. The road was easier, the moose snot wasn't as treacherous.

    Yep, MT-01

Frame, suspension, brakes & bits are based on the '05 R1, the engine and trans are out of the Warrior...it's a cruiser that can turn and stop quite well...unless I'm riding it and I find gravel...then I find a ditch and blow the tire, bend the forks, break the shift lever, crush the heat shield...you know, cheap stuff...:huh
