Boise ride this weekend...

I pulled out right in front of you just as you were crossing I84 via HWY 95 at Palisades Jct. I was in a blue Chevy pickup. I stuck my hand out the window and waved at you behind me.

Somehow we missed you! :huh

Sadly this is short notice, but I just learned that having OHV community members attend this meeting IS a good idea (there was concern, misplaced on my part, it would not be wise to pull in riders) for the purpose of getting the Warm Spring OHV training range that was closed down last year, re-opened.

(location of Shakespeare Festival; note that Warm Springs is under closure at the ID-21 end, so approach instead from Eckert Road, by way of Amity Road off Federal Way; or from Park Center coming from downtown.)

"A neighborhood meeting will be held ... to review the existing OHV training course at the IDPR property which is in the process of renewing its zoning certificate."

I am one of those neighbors. I want it open. It was closed last year after dust complaints (avoidable, due to unmonitored use of the range after a class).

I fully expect my neighbors to be against re-opening the range for all the thing they DON'T know about the value of this program and assumption that this is some sort of "track" which it is NOT.

Can you show up? Do you know anyone (many ones) that can show up in support of re-opening the training range? Spread the word please.

Wore myself out the last couple days riding to Indian hot springs with Silverspurs and Trent and I'm sore today. Ride report will be coming, here is a taste.

Just had my hip injected this afternoon with a corticosteroid... feeling much better. I need to ride before this stuff wears off. I'll try to make the Prairie Ride.

Can somebody tell me the guy's name and phone number that works on BMWs up in the Highlands?? I used him to do some work for me a couple of years ago and liked what he did.

BUT I lost his phone number and I dont remember his name.

oh... this should be good!... my lack of skills on display!

Want to go on a fun trail ride as I have the day off but not sure where as I am still learning the aria.

Suggestions of a good place to trailer my bike for a fun few hours is greatly apprisheatted.

Jonny, go to Hemingway Butte. Take Hwy 45 south of Nampa, just after you cross the Snake river, turn south on Hwy 78 for a mile or two, right on upper Reynolds creek rd :)
