Great Vid.. I was at that event and that rock pile (as you show in the vid) was nasty.. part of me wanted on the track but the other part was glad I was in the stands...
Thanks for watching guys. It is indeed a far nobler thing to be in the stands, wishing you were on the track, than being on the track wishing you were in the stands. Any stands. Anywhere. Regards, Mr. BigWheel
Too often the underdogs are overlooked in our culture, for the flashy factory riders and the custom haulers. I firmly believe that the guys in the back throwing caution to the wind are the real hero's. Screw that flat brim bullshit, give me a middle aged guy digging deep and throwing it down for nothing but bruises, busted bikes and a beer after. Awesome video!!!!!
You have struck close to the truth for us, crankshaft. The Comcast Arena is the only venue that I've been to that had decent beer at the vendors. Maybe I was influenced by the realization that I had survived the event and didn't have to go back out on the track, but those were the best IPAs that I've ever had. That may be the main factor that is driving our return to Everett again. October 26 is our next day of reckoning. Thanks for watching. Regards, Mr. BigWheel
video above was busted for me... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Cp3m6c5XSnU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
And as I miss yet another lunch due to an extended meeting to discuss why feelings and spreadsheets are important to... something... I am reminded why I don't mind finishing last in a hare scramble. Thanks.
Thanks for watching again guys. PeteN95, We'd love it if you made the journey all the way from Mocha tea-o. If there are enough people cheering us on, we might be able block out the sounds of our kids yelling, "You Suck!!" this year. That would be worth at least 30 seconds a lap. Regards, Mr. BigWheel
