Am I missing something, or didn't he move from red to orange recently? Or will he be riding a "orange bike painted blue", IYKWIM ?
Now that would be special... I am still scratching my head trying to figure out where exactly the Bergs fit in Mattighoffen's grand scheme of things, especially now that they got rid of the 70degree engine and all that differentiate the blue from the orange bikes are a fancy new fork and linkage on the rear suspension ... ?
He did, but are they going to put in an extra rider/pair or are KTM America putting a team in, or something from left field? Time will tell
Looks like Quinn may be out training with the Jimmy Lewis rally school gang in Pahrump Nevada in a couple of weeks. I have no idea what he'll be riding. Maybe one of you guys could go do Jimmy's school and report back. Or maybe I'll go and learn how to navigate!
Quinn is in for the 2012 Australasian Safari on the CPW KTM Rallye Racing team. Does anyone know if CPW will be fielding a team for the 2013 Dakar? .
It seems like if there were any American's in the Dakar it would have popped up on this forum already. Could it be that none were accepted this year? I haven't heard anything about Bill Conger, but I was really hoping to see him have another go at it.
What about Canadians? I know Patrick Beaule is going on a bike, and David Bensadoun is returning in a car. Anyone else???

Faria and Pedrero must be on some deal? Both arguably better riders than the B team, although the B team is probably not funded on the whole by KTM - but what drives the water carriers year after year, knowing they are playing second fiddle and may never get to play first, or can start without a thought of victory, which as a professional rider has to be a prime thought? The hope that you won't be needed? That they may have the chance to come second or third? Happy to be a team player when the other member of the team wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire, or stuck in the mud? The fact that they will have the 3rd and 4th best bikes in the rally - so far that is? The money - not understood to be great, but neither are the other basic opportunities? They have both accepted that they can't beat the aliens anyway? All of the above
The B team have big sponsorship from Broadlink, a South African networking company, that is a fact. I think that Faria and Pedrero hope to be the next winners. But as you say that they have been waterboys -or should I say watercarriers - for quite a while now. Who know how long the aliens will continue? Mr Pendejo has talked about going over to cars but not just yet. I give him one, maybe two more years on bikes. Mr Coma on the other hand seems to really love riding, he still seems really strong, maybe another 3-4 Dakar's in him on a bike?
