Exploration ride in AZ

This sounds interesting, you promise there will be rough stuff?

What ever happened to "ride it hard" as a break-in procedure?

That's the way these bikes are supposed to be broken in. Eddy, WTF is the problem here?

No problemo Sir , I want to do it by the book cuz I like to keep this bike, Where I bought the kit (and in the bb kit remarks) it said must go easy/mild rpm revs the first 40-50 miles (mechanic suggested too). After that change oil/filter and ride it like u stole it. ...

Let me borrow it for the rest of the day. I can bring it back with well over 50 miles.

40 or 50 miles and change oil.... that can be done any evening. Stop making excuses and come ride.... we won't make fun of you if you crash...

Most definately! Most of it will be doable on the klr, but the unexplored section would kill you on it!

(Sprockets are easy, brittle old bones not so much. )
