I bought this bike back in 1980. It looked like this this when I pulled it out of the barn in 2012 having been parked since 1988.

After a year and a half of spare time it came out like this. I got it on the road three days ago. I did everything myself except for powdercoating the frame (because my oven is not big enough) and cutting the valve seats. I just found the side cover badge this morning, so that is on also. I wish I could find a reasonably priced OEM or repop exhaust system....the search goes on.

Beautiful 750, really nice job. That was always one of my favorite Honda colors.

Very nice 750! I have my eye on one, too, to do likewise (a 1978 SS). That gold color is classic!

Agreed on that gold-my dad had a 350 in gold that seemed monstrous when I sat on it way back when!

Really nice job, I'm a firm believer in dust being great rust protection.

Yes, I am missing the dust guard...actually, I didn't know it originally had one until you pointed it out. :-)

Neat old bikes, one and all. None really usable as dual sports or adventure bikes, but with the notorious unreliability, one always has an adventure in riding them, as one doesn't know for sure he will get home!
