Happy 2013 Everyone. We have been working a few new Products for 2013. They will be ready to ship February15th. New for 2013 The Rocky Mountain Saddle Bags What can we say about the most comprehensive saddle bags we have ever made? With nearly a year of R&D testing with a World Class R&D team, the Rocky Mountain Saddle Bags were created. We even went to Bolivia (Eric Grew up there) to test them! We used our popular Expedition Saddle Bag as the base and utilized the same mounting and compression system. The Rocky Mountain Saddle bags are cone shaped i.e. wider at the top than bottom to make packing them easier. The internal stiffeners are held in place with hook and loop and work to compress and secure the load (to Wolfman or other side racks) which make the bags become almost ridged and firm, not floppy. These bags are sewn in-house utilizing our own custom vinyl coated 1680 denier ballistics nylon fabric. The bags have a 35oz. vinyl bottom to compliment 22oz. vinyl back and front accents. Reflective striping also runs horizontally from front to back. Since these are sewn and not 100% waterproof, we have included our own Yellow 200D pu coated and seam taped waterproof liners. These are custom fit to make them easy in and out, while keeping contents dry. We incorporated D-Rings to the top and front of each bag so you can add a small or medium Rolie and/or fuel bottle holster for more versatility. We added a handle for easier maneuvering. The best part is the capacity with 32 liters in each bag with about 3 liters of float room depending on what you have packed. We took the whole process from concept, design and manufacturing very seriously, to make one of the finest large capacity soft saddle bags anywhere. Features: 32 Liter Capacity with about 3 liters of float. Great looking system you have developed there, lets get some of these into the hands of riders that will put them to the test soon! 2013 Giant Loop gear vs 2013 Wolfman gear.. its a tough call but damn it's good to be an ADV rider right now, we are spoilt for choice compared to the options a decade ago.
look a lot like the Adventure Spec Magadan panniers. I was about ready to buy a set of those, but I may have to rethink that. A little cheaper. No slash proof kevlar though. How about provisions for PacSafe cables? Are bottle carriers part of the package? You are close by so I can have a look at them I presume? KP
Here's a behind picture from Motostrano's website. It would be nice to see them in person. I'll have to make trip to go check them out.
Absolutely! Eric and I will be out of town next week but give us a call after that and come on by the store
As someone who has seen and touched these bags, I can say, with enthusiasm, that they take soft luggage through a whole new door. They are big and they are durable. The material is wonderful. And, as with the Expedition Dry Saddlebags, the mounting methods are reliable and sturdy. Great work guys! These are sure to be a hit!!!
Very different than the Teton. Different Shape Different Fabrics, Larger Capacity, More versatile, Waterproof/Removable liner. Woof e
Are you planning on breaking these down and really showing us what they are? Maybe, a vendor can do a proper review on them with pictures?

I take it the Expedition racks will work with these? They look awesome! If I need to up size from my Expedition Dry Panniers I know where to go!
+1. Keep it coming Eric. My Kriega kit is almost for sale What else can you do to push me over the edge with these? On another note, I was so pleasantly impressed with your racks on my Tiger. Including removal/re-install of a Caribou rear case rack, I had your racks installed in under 30min. Tough. Strong. Simple. Easy install. Great stuff
Rear View The Liner folded inside The Liners are taller than the Rocky Mountain Main bag so, if you choose not to remove them, you are only dealing with one bag opening. We chose to use 1" Black Metal Cam Buckles for the rack attachment and compression of the Rocky Mountains. Woof e
