FS-190 takes off up to Timerwolf Mt from the bypass route around Bethel Ridge.
Since we did Bethel ridge on or way north, we decided to do the bypass route on the way back to see new country. We were looking for an epic spot to camp on our last night and when we saw the sign for Timberwolf Mt we thought we would check it out. This view is from just before where fs-190 ends at Timberwolf.

As cool of a spot as it was, we couldn't find a good spot for our tents with a view, so we headed out and eventually camped a few miles down the road at the very summit of Bethel Ridge. A little tricky getting to the top with a loaded down bike but the view was worth it

That's funny. When I was looking at the maps thinking "farther west", I saw Timberwolf Mtn, and thought that has to be it, for no other reason than the name is of appropriate interest for an adv'er.

I'll come up with something tonight.

Yep!

I knew that one would go fast.
I dont remember ever seeing it on here, so thought those that didn't know about it should see what a cool place it is.
Nice ride up and a short 1/4 mile walk to the summit makes for a fun outing!
