bike is evolving, i call it my adventure bike. i feeel i have covered all bases, triangle if you will. problem is resisting puting real knobbys on the xr6, i fight with that idea daily. why ? i have a 2007 ktm300xc and a 2006 yz450f...
reality every bike has its own personality, xr6 wont compete against the others in there hometown.... it sure keeps asking me tooo.

The underseat tank is now off and in the garage. I'll put it back on for an extended trip but the big tank in front is all I need for day trips.

Little logging road ride couple weeks ago. About 5 min after this pic I dumped it and busted the mirror Bike looks a lot different this week...new skid plate, msr handguards, center stand, and some stickers ofcourse!

Rear shock has a red spring my 98 is yellow. is that stock for a 93.

Has not been started in 1 1/2 years
brought my batery & some starting fluid she would pop but not start.

Offered 1000 as it looked like it would run (was asking 1200 & almost felt bad asking less as they were so nice) & they agreed.

got it on the trailer & with no choke on for giggles I hit the starter & she fired right up into a perfect idle & would take trottle.
Brought her home & would die when I stuck it in gear so I disabled the sidestand switch & took her for a ride runs great.

Thing it needs
right rear blinker is broken.
rear sprocket
tool bag missing
change all the fluids

Anyway the bike if from NJ & is very well sorted so I figure the ower may have been a member.
So if anyone knows this bike let me know.
