Overland Expo 17-19 May Flagstaff, AZ

Is any inmates going to the Expo? Suppose to be really good this year, and for the non haters Charley Boorman is going to be there as well as many others. If anyone is going sure would be great to meet up and have a beer or two.

Coming from CA. I'll be doing the Rawhyde training though.

I'll be coming out with a bunch of guys from Vegas, hope to run into a few of you guys. Rawhyde is a great course and Jim will be there as well as Shawn I do believe who is a fellow inmate.

I will be heading up to the expo on the 17th. I will be camping out, riding, and drinking beer. It would be great to meet up with some of you FFs!

Are you sure Charley is going or did you see that from his tweet? I wasn't so sure.

He has posted it on his FB page three or more times now, he said he will have a booth there and he is looking forward to coming out as a mater of fact he posted Globalpilot's RR where he talked about last years expo.

There's got to be a way for ADV inmates to recognize each other there

Just slap a big ass ADV sticker on your forehead and you will surely be recognized! Been chatting with Charley and he is 90 percent sure that he is going to make the Expo. He has been over in Thailand for the last few months shooting but hopes to stop at the EXPO on his way home. I will keep you advised when things are definite. Swing by the booth when you get up in Flag. Would be great to meet you guys!

As far as incoming celebrities are concerned I talked w/ Roseann Hanson a few weeks ago and at that time she confirmed we can expect meet & greet Charlie Borman, Tiffany Coates & the 2ride the world team, Simon & Lisa Thomas plus others of Adventure Rider & Horizons Unlimited fame.But,hell, I consider Al Jesse & Jim Hyde as celebrities so what do I know


You can be identified as an FF ADV Rider buy purchasing ADV stickers, ADV shirts & hats from the ADV vendors section & there buy support not only this website but ADV riders that sell these products.

Plenty of time to get your " Known Associate" items on order and delivered to you before the Event----See Ya there!!!

Karla and I are thinking of going to this and dry camping with the big rig. Don't get how the classes work so I am thinking we will just do the day passes and maybe the classes in '14. Still looking at options.

Im considering a banzai run out there for it from socal. Wont know though until that weekend.
