I've been up there once before a few years back, my first bike trip after about 25 years off road riding, & had a pretty good guide to help out. Want to see if the roads/tracks are as difficult as I remember them.

It's all changed Pete, they even get cars up there these days, the power is on (in some places) and you can even get a cold beer here and there . There will be many guides available to you and the options, at all degrees of difficulty, are endless. It's the nights you have to watch out for though!!

Welcome PP, I'm not sure about trees but I reckon an enterprising bloke could find somewhere to tie a hammock. I guess you'll be travelling with the other GTR guys?

Found another reason not to go to the Para Pub during the Classic, there's a strong rumour that Julia Gillard and the federal tourism minister will be touring the Flinders that weekend. They'd have to be staying there in the posh underground rooms wouldn't they?

Ha ha ha, read about your 'difficulties' over there. There's rumours of some tourism awards being distributed around the Flinders. I wonder if the Classic made a short list?

I can see the similarities

When they interview her on TV she always looks like she's just had a stroke her mouth is all crooked
