Donington should be a fantastic race - the Craner Curves offer some of the best views in bike racing.

Thanks for the link. Very nice feed quality.
I usually wait for WSBK to show up on Racing For Me.

Glad the weather has cleared up for Super Pole.

Canepa out qualified Checa and Badovini in his first ride on the Duc SBK. :eek1

Burnicle and Whitham reported Checa needs shoulder surgery which will require a long recovery, so he is putting it off. Tough sledding.

Sykes was absolutely dominant. I wonder if Melandri or the Aprilias will have anything for him tomorrow.

Don't forget all the excitement Johnny Rea caused in the final corner last year. :eek1

This is probably a dumb question but how did Canepa qualify ahead of Checa and 6 other guys that have faster times than him?

How is it that none of the other Kawi guys can get a decent time/race. Is Sykes THAT gods our are those guys that bad? Is Sykes the Stoner of Kawasaki?

They have knock out rounds in Superpole. In the preceding round Canepa set a faster time than Checa. The top nine go to the final round of Superpole. Canepa had probably used up all of his qualifying tires, so was stuck with a race tire for the final round. Thus the slower time.

Sykes is not only a Superpole and Qualifying specialist, he is very, very good at Donington.

Was this the first time that beIN (albeit delayed for live cycling) aired Superpole qualifying?
