All these bags are looking great! I have had a set of Kirk's Panniers since February and I am loving them (Blue and white F800GS on the first page). The build quality is exceptional and I get comments on them all the time (Kirk, these things need to come with a set of business cards for me to hand out to people )

The 2 things that I enjoyed the most about buying from Kirk were being able to work with him to get the exact design I wanted and then watching the production unfold over the intertubes...and oh yeah, the bags are freaking awesome!

To be honest, I almost brought you a bottle opener at some point when you were fabricating my panniers, but it wasn't going to get shipped to my house in time. Let me know if you ever source some and I will find a time to come by and have you install it for me.

The corner notcher I picked up recently has become an incredibly useful tool. I took off the fences and the guard and use it to nibble out various shapes. I always make sure to reinstall the guard after use - I can see someone easily losing a finger on this thing.



Plus, the notcher allows me to take my fit-up to the next level...



Matthew's, Brent's, and Aaron's jobs sheared and bent. Time for an all night TIG welding extravaganza.



But first, Arthur's Ducati briefcases need to ship out.

Whew!

THAT was a full day!

Time for some jalapeno poppers and a beeyah!

It's the least I could do. I sent you the M6 version as it fit your lid better. They are 10MM narrower overall. That's the size I will continue to stock. M8 is stronger than needed.

I like the way they lay flush against each other when all the way open without adding extra tension to the box material.

I'll be installing them this week! They perfectly match my clasps as well!

By the way, yesterday was my first chance to test the seals on my panniers and I have to say, they passed perfectly! The only water came in from my revised mounts. I need to add seals to the holes.
