Well, I'm 56 now, have three motorcycles and am riding more than ever. Started riding at eight years old.

Sounds good . Maybe its time to slow down when you can't get your leg over the bike., but there is always a curb or stump around... :0) Man I must be getting screwed up coming up with this stuff. I think its the Alaska winter and the bike's in the garage. Not into Studs. Got a nice FM music station on 24 hours a day as the V Strom gets lonely..

61 here & age is not an issue....yet. I have several friends older than me who are still riding. One guy who is 83 and still riding his Electra Glide almost daily...he is an old racer/motorhead & he just flogs the shit out of that thing.

Sixty-two here- started riding in 1963 and except for part of a 4 yr stint as one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children, including a trip to SE Asia, have ridden ever since. Made the TAT from OK to OR summer before last and plan to do the CDR this summer. Have dirt bikes, a sport touring bike, a couple of DS bikes, and a 2-up tourer(and a wife who will go about anywhere with me on it). Loving riding even more nowadays. If I live to be 78, I hope to be a 78 year old motorcyclist (including dirt bikes). Yeah!

    Define old.

    I'm sixty.

Did this scoot in September: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=513116

A friend and I are Looking to join the 200 mph club @ Bonneville in '11
aboard a bmw 1000 RR ( should arrive in late January).

The biggest issue i suffer is the huge disconnect i experience
every morning when i look in the mirror and this guy 35 years
older than me stares on back. Old coot.

I'll be 63 in a few weeks and I can't imagine not riding anymore. The year I turned 60 I took solo rides to Cabo and Alaska. When I got home from a breakfast ride to an old mining town on Sunday morning I told my wife "I just love this shit."

I am 69 years old. Street skills seem to be holding up. Dirt skills definitely declining since leg/knee reconstruction from dirt bike wreck and other major surgeries. No plans to hang it up anytime soon.
