Wed afternoon ride ,Tellico Plains area

We rolled the Dakar out for a short ride afternoon , like most times we headed for Tellico Plains only this time I wanted to ride on Rt 39 over to 315 toward Reliance. It had been awhile and I forgot what a great paved road that it was. Off of Reliance rd we hit one of the Star mt access roads and found a neat little place on Spring Ck.

Then back out to Rt. 315 and south to Ivy Trail , wound around some gravel headed toward Coker Ck Falls . It had been over a year since I had been down there and Barb never had seen that spot. Outside of Ironsburg on Rt 68 and off F.S. 22 , there is a sign where you turn toward the Falls , it dead ends at a picnic area at the Falls .... well worth the ride.

It's a pretty nice path , alittle rough in places , the farther you go the rougher it gets.

Then back out to Rt. 68 and toward Tellico Plains , over to Rt. 360 and headed home. The whole ride was only 130 miles , but made for a nice afternoon . Hope you enjoy!

Cool folks, cool bike, cool place to ride! Wish I had a place like that within 130 miles of my home.

East Tennessee is a great place to live if you ride a motorcycle, for sure.

Been riding through that area for years, but "discovered" 39 only this past spring. Really good fun! Great area for riding, on or off road, and hiking. Nice report and pics....thanks for posting.
