I will continue south this year with Tbob and any others who want to explore some more. I know a lot of people won't be able to continue due to work and other commitments. I try and do a new mix of routes every year but some like Kebler Pass are hard to pass by. I'll see what I can do to include more southern routes next year within the weekend. We might need to enlist another inmate in the central mountains for Thursday night's festivities :deal

I think I'm in, been wanting to do a Rockies Regional Ride with you guys for so long!!!! If I can get the wife on board I think this would be a good one to pop our ADV cherries on :lol3.

Consider us almost definitely maybe in! 2-up on a Wee Strom.:ricky

edit: errr...I just saw the "2up doable, if you have the skills" disclaimer. What kind of skills do I need, like Boreas pass 2 up skills or like Georgia Pass 2 up skills. Top section of Georgia Pass on the Wee Strom with stock tires is about as skillful as I can get right now with a passenger and even that may be pushing it.

Dunkley and Ripple Creek passes were covered in nice deep gravel early this summer. Mostly annoying but may be a bit squirmy two up/no knobbies.

Seems like they have been doing that every year lately.... If it not good by 1st week in September, then Mark might axe Ripple Creek from the route.
Ben & Julie rode 2 up chasing me into Trapper's Lake Lodge for lunch a few years ago in the deep marbles and had a hell of a time!! :cry Rode out to Meeker for pavement all the way back around to Steamboat!!! :huh

Anybody been up there lately? Has it packed down some. I've never really ridden through deep gravel before, does it behave like deep sand? Doesn't sound like a deal breaker either way though.

We are in for Friday and Maybe Saturday. Not sure if it matters since we won't be RSVPing for the BBQ at WhiteWater's :dunno. My wife has to work on Thursday, so I'll miss the ribs. :cry

I'll ride it on Thursday and see how it is. I might reroute through the Williams Fork and Yellow Jacket if it's still squirrely:muutt

We aren't much for squirly stuff. Skittles don't do the stand on the pegs so hopefully nothing too drastic. :deal

I have pre-run all the sections except the Flat Tops which I will do soon. All the two-ups will have a warm and fuzzy feeling in their buttocks when they ride these routes. :D

Warm and Fuzzy sounds awesome compared to tight and puckered. Thanks for the recon!
